Well apparently the best way to spend your weekend is at the zoo, movie theatre, or different.

Homecoming (or homecoming game) is the last "Home" game (the last football game played at your school). People like to celebrate it, because it kind of symbolizes the end of the football season, even though it's not the last game. :)

Part of this celebration is the Homecoming dance. It usually occurs the day after Homecoming.

Homecoming week is the week before Homecoming. In my school, we have themed days (Character Day, Tacky Day, ect.) and a pep rally sometime in the week.

Note also, that during Homecoming (at halftime), the Homecoming Court is announced. This may not apply to your school. It is very much like prom. The boy and girl Senior winners are the Homecoming King and Queen, the Junior winners are the Prince and Princess, the sophomore is the Duke and Dutchess, ect. Again, this may only be our school.
